For Village Clerk
Candice Bielski, her husband Chris and their three boys have lived in Homer Glen for 10 years. They moved to Homer Glen to take advantage of the great schools and enjoy the community’s open spaces.
Candice has worked as an accounts payable coordinator. She currently runs her own small business. She has been a long-time volunteer and board member for the Homer Stallions, which is a youth football program. Candice is one of the co-founders and board members for the Elevate Wrestling Academy.
She and her son Austin put together a lemonade stand that he named Cups 4 Cancer. This charitable endeavor has raised nearly $20,000 in the past 5 years as 100% of the proceeds are donated to the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation in Orland Park.
As the next Village Clerk in Homer Glen, Candice will strive to bring more accountability and transparency to local government. Candice believes Homer Glen is a great community but there are ways to make the Village better and she will be a new voice to work for the WHOLE community. She is working for US.
