Christina Neitzke-Troike’s roots in Homer Glen run deep. She moved to Homer Glen in 1989 and she has been involved in her community for most of her life. A graduate of Lockport Township High school and a graduate of Moraine Valley Community College, Christina has made Homer Glen her home.
Christina Neitzke-Troike has a proven record of community service. She is the founder and Committee Member of the Village of Homer Glen Veterans event and the founder of the Ability Awareness Committee Homer Glen. In addition, she serves as the President of Homer Cares 501c3 for special needs families.
Christina Neitzke-Troike has a proven record of government service. She served as Homer Township Trustee from 2009-2015 and as Village of Homer Glen Trustee from 2015-2019. She currently serves as the Homer Glen Village Clerk. She also has served as Homer Glen Chairwoman of Park and Rec Committee from 2015-2019; Homer Township Special Needs Committee Chair from 2009-2012; Homer Township Republican Organization Committeeman from 2010-2012; and she currently serves as a Homer Glen Ability Awareness Committee Member.
Christina Neitzke-Troike has a proven record of business development. She managed Konow's Corn Maze/Zachary's Red Barn from 2013-current and worked at Homer Tree Service in the accounting department from 2011-2014. She also has managed properties for more than 10 years.
She was the SOS Children's Village lead Organizer for Collections/Donations/Drives/Events and is the founder of the Pop Tab Challenge overseeing the collection of more than 5,000 pounds of tabs for the Oak Lawn Ronald McDonald House. She also is a Lockport Moose Member since 2003
Christina has two stepsons and one stepdaughter, and she and her husband Dan have a son and daughter.
Christina Neitzke-Troike has the proven experience and proven commitment to public service to serve as the next mayor of Homer Glen.
